Homemade Play Kitchen

With Christmas right around the corner I have started to wonder what the kids are going to ask Santa for. (Okay, 55 days may not be RIGHT around the corner, but I am sure it will FLY! 55 days ago it was the first week of September and the kids were just starting school.)

We have a kitchen, but I might ditch it if Santa would make one of these for the girls.

But this is a do it yourself project, but it looks actually doable! And the results are just so cute.

I remember looking for a kitchen once upon a time and not finding anything that I loved. The one we ended up with is really cute, but Lou La still wishes it wasn't blue. This is the best way to get EVERYTHING you are looking for and in the right color. Do it yourself.

If you aren't up for making the entire kitchen, you can make some of the accessories to cut down on some of the cost. Like these cute pot holders. Or a cute apron! (I will be posting a very cute, very easy apron for kids later this month!!)

And I am going to have to make some of these cute accessories. Look at this great cookie baking/decorating set.

You can see more images of this cute kitchen here on Flickr.

I've all ready shown this to my hubby to have him make next year for Christmas, such a cute idea. I hadn't thought about making one before, but I love the idea!

That is so precious! Much better than those plastic ones you see in the stores.
